Community Guidelines

We’re thrilled to have you here. This community is a supportive, encouraging space to connect with others on the Nutrivore90 journey.

To ensure everyone has a positive experience, please follow these community guidelines:

1. Support Each Other

This community thrives when you engage, share experiences, and uplift each other. The community chats and the comments on daily journal prompts are here for exactly that—please actively participate, cheer each other on, swap recipes, and celebrate your wins together!

2. Keep it Positive and Welcoming

We’re all on this journey together, and positivity is key. Remember that everyone is starting at a different level and has different strengths and obstacles, so what might feel easy or obvious to you might be a huge challenge for someone else, and vice versa. In this space, we don’t yuck each other’s yums or spread fear about food quality—we are focused on the types of foods on our plates not the quality of those foods. So please approach with encouragement, kindness, and remember our motto: nourishment, not judgment.

Always communicate kindly, respectfully, and inclusively. Negativity, criticism, judgment, or harassment won’t be tolerated.

3. Nutrivore90-Focused Q&A

The Office Hours Q&A chats with the team and me (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) are specifically for Nutrivore90-related questions. Examples include practical tips, clarifications about the week’s challenge, or advice for navigating obstacles.

Office hours will begin Monday, January 5th. Each Sunday, the office hours schedule for the upcoming week will be posted. Please note, questions will only be answered during the scheduled office hours, however you’re welcome to post your question in the chat thread in advance—it will be answered during the next scheduled office hours.

We also encourage you to utilize the Ask the Community chat for more perspectives on navigating the challenge, and to use educational resources (like the Nutrivore book, the Nutrivore.com website, and the challenge guides) for empowered learning.

4. Respect Boundaries

  • No Personal Medical or Nutritional Advice: Please don’t ask for personalized medical or nutritional advice (from me, the team, or any other member)—these questions must always be directed to your healthcare provider. Additionally, do not give personal medical or nutritional advice to any other member (including supplements, specific foods to eat or avoid, biohacks, or medial interventions). I know it feels rewarding to be helpful, but what works for you personally may not work for others within the full context of each person’s medical history and health concerns

  • Empowered Learning: If a question can be easily answered by checking your Nutrivore book, the Nutrivore.com website, or provided challenge resources, please do so first. We aim to empower you to become confident and resourceful in your Nutrivore journey!

5. Stay On Topic

Let’s keep conversations focused on Nutrivore90 and related topics like recipes, meal prep, habits, and personal growth through this challenge. Off-topic or promotional content isn’t appropriate here. You may recommend products or brands that you have found personally helpful, but do not post affiliate links.

6. Confidentiality and Privacy

What’s shared in our Substack community stays here. Please respect everyone’s privacy and confidentiality—do not share personal stories, photos, or details outside this community without permission.

Thank you for being an important part of this vibrant community. Together, we’re building a space filled with support, encouragement, and lasting positive change!
